Impossible Jewel Indigo
Full color Dharma Wheel artist's print
Available framed or unframed
There were two wheels used to great this wheel. The first is repeated many times. It lines the concentric circles and is comprised of primarily tan and brown colors. That wheel is unusual for me. It is fluid and non-traditional among a group of wheels that are, themselves, non-traditional.
The second wheel is simply two concentric blue wheels with eight simple blue spokes.
I don't consider jewels to be playful but this wheel is the result of duplicating the fluid wheel and placing it on each concentric wheel's edge. The fluid wheel would, by itself, most certainly, never be characterized as a jewel. However, when I stood back from this wheel, near the end of it's creation, it appeared to be a jeweled bracelet.
The unintentional - and chance - married Dada with the Buddhist tradition.
