The Middle Way

Zen Spot #43 -- Mindfulness, meditation and wrestling with a truism February 5, 2018 00:05

Make a promise

A credit or debit card is required to purchase my artwork on line. Use the debit card or refrain from making the purchase. I want to sell artwork and other services online, but I also want to contribute to a world where people don’t subjugate themselves to never-ending, spiraling debt.

Packaged by banks as a wonderful product that helps people achieve their dreams early, the interest on credit does nothing but enslave. Smiling evil, protected safely by your wallet or purse. Save credit for essentials.

Perhaps the image above is an overstatement. That said, perhaps it’s not. In the event that it’s accurate, better to save. I want your money but, more so, I want you to be free.
